Ford F-150 Engine Options 

The 2019 F-150 comes standard with a 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 that produces up to 290 horsepower. With this kind of standard power output, you’ll have more than enough strength to traverse treacherous terrain or tow a heavy load of cargo.

However, you’ll also have the choice of several other engines as well, including a 2.7L EcoBoost® V6, a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8, a 3.5L EcoBoost® V6, a 3.0L Power Stroke® V6, and an H.O. 3.5L EcoBoost® V6. These capable engines produce a range of 325 to 450 horsepower. Depending on the trim level you choose, you’ll have several options for your available equipment.

2019 F-150 Gas Mileage

In the entry-level model of the 2019 F-150, the XL, your standard engine offers the choice of two drivetrains options: 4×2 or 4×4. Each of these drivetrain options offers a different fuel economy, but both ensure that stops at the gas station every couple of miles won’t be part of your travel plans.

In this 4×2 model, you can expect an EPA-estimated 19 city/25 highway MPG. With the 4×4 model, the EPA estimates that drivers can expect 18 city/23 highway MPG.

F-150 Cab and Bed Options 

When you’re choosing a truck, every driver deserves to have various configurations to choose from, such as different powertrains, cab options, and more.

In the Ford F-150, you’ll have three options for your cab size. The first of these options is the Regular Cab, which has enough space for up to three passengers, but most configurations provide the space for two. Both the Super Cab and the Super Crew offer space for five to six passengers.
