Get Lost in Nature

To show you all this area has to offer, Shirley Heinze Land Trust offers guided hikes, and volunteer workdays in the nature preserves in Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and St. Joseph Counties. At these events, you’ll get a chance to met like-minded people and participate in the protection of the ecology of the area—and even get a good eco-friendly workout in! From strolling alongside Green Heron Pond to exploring Wykes-Plampin, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
