PERFORMANCE
Ford Chassis Cab
Lean, Mean Performance

The 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab is expected to offer several engine options. There are both diesel and gasoline engines available for drivers to choose from. The base model has a 6.2L flex-fuel V8 engine that makes 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

In addition, the manufacturer has a turbo diesel engine for better performance. These trucks offer a powerful 6.7L diesel engine that can generate 330 horsepower and a torque of around 825 lb-ft. Then, there’s the available 7.3L V8 engine that peaks with 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.

Plus, all Ford Chassis Cab models feature a standard Ford TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission smooths out your rides and optimizes drive ratios and shift performance. On top of that, when they are properly equipped, the trucks can achieve a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 43,000 pounds.

The 2023 Ford Chassis Cab has a lot to live up to when you’re behind the wheel. We expect it will answer the call of every jobsite’s needs and the hardworking attitude you strive for.

TECHNOLOGY

Tech Expectations

The upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab will include a more sophisticated cabin design. The model plans to introduce a more modern instrument panel. There’s even more to expect—with the XL trim level, there is a streamlined infotainment system for your driver and entertainment settings, which will elevate your ride instantly. Plus, there’s an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, and even Wi-Fi compatibility for up to 10 devices in the XLT trim level.

There are even more high-tech features, like the available 12-inch touchscreen and a SYNC® 4 infotainment system, as you climb the trim level ladder.

As far as safety is concerned, the model is predicted to include extra cameras and blind-spot cameras. Finally, Ford’s BlueCruise self-driving system could become available, but only in higher-rank trim levels.

It’s important to have the right amount of cabin space and seating for you and your crew on and off the worksite, and that’s something the Ford Chassis Cab has always emphasized.

We expect that there will be three different cab sizes offered: the regular cab, 4-door SuperCab, and an even larger Crew Cab. The latest model even offers optional features, like rear under-seat storage and a fold-flat/locking load floor in the Crew Cab.

It’s safe to say that this truck is made for those who are ready for big-move projects. Because of this, we can expect the upcoming model to offer similar sizes and options. There may also be some room to introduce some additional storage solutions.
