2020 Ford Escape Review
With the 2020 Ford Escape redesign, this crossover SUV meshes style and comfort to give you a fun-driving vehicle wherever you go around Plainfield, Indianapolis, and Avon. Before this car makes its way to our lot here at Andy Mohr Ford, we want to outline for you some of the new improvements to the 2020 Escape.
2020 Ford Escape Redesign
Part of the 2020 Ford Escape redesign is the changes made to the exterior of this crossover SUV. With its more modern look, from the taillights to the front grille, this crossover SUV has a sportier appearance than previous years. The roof slopes seamlessly down to the curved headlights, giving this car a more aerodynamic and forward-leaning look for adventurous driving.
New Technology With the 2020 Escape
With the Ford Escape, you will continue to have the option for the available SYNC® 3 system that comes with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility for full control over your smartphone while driving. You can also enjoy the conveniences of available FordPass Connect™ and Ford+Alexa.
Beyond that, the 2020 Ford Escape features the latest in innovation with additional technologies, like the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. This large display on your dashboard will give you control over what information you want to see. Configure this display to your liking and quickly be able to see all the vital information you need to know while driving.
2020 Escape Safety
Another change in the 2020 Escape is the amount of standard safety features in this crossover SUV. Once an available package, the new Escape comes standard with a handful of driver-assistive technologies. These include:
- Auto High-Beam Headlamps
- Lane-Keeping System
- Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
- BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
There are also additional safety features you can get with the 2020 Escape. The available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go features Lane Centering. Along with slowing your vehicle down when traffic ahead is stopped and automatically getting you back up to your preset speed once it is clear, this technology will be able to help keep your vehicle centered between the lines of the lane you are driving in.
The available Evasive Steering Assist will help in emergency situations when you need to quickly maneuver around a vehicle to avoid a potential collision. You can also get the safety and convenience that comes with the available Active Park Assist 2.0.
This can not only help you find a parking spot but can also assist you in safely fitting into a parallel or perpendicular spot. Just brake to a complete stop, shift into neutral, and hold down the Active Park Assist button. After that, the vehicle does the rest and will get your car into the parking spot!
