Ford Maverick: Standard Full Hybrid Powertrain

The Ford Maverick is the first-ever pickup to come standard with a 2.5L full hybrid engine. This engine produces 191 combined horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque. It also provides exceptional fuel economy, with an EPA-estimated 42 city/33 highway MPG.
The Ford Maverick gives you capability you can count on. In addition to fuel economy, it also offers 1,500 pounds of standard payload capacity and 2,000 pounds of base towing capacity. The hybrid engine is paired with a PowerSplit Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

If you want to take your performance a step further, there is an available engine that can make you even more productive. The available 2.0L EcoBoost® engine gives you more features that enhance the possibilities you have on the road.
By choosing the 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, you can access the available all-wheel drive, allowing you to have more control and support by distributing torque to all four tires on your adventures. This engine also doesn’t sacrifice performance, providing 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission to ensure a smooth ride.
This engine also allows for the inclusion of the 4K towing package. This provides you with a maximum of 4,000 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped, giving you the strength you need to haul a boat or a trailer on your next trip.
The EcoBoost® engine also allows for the addition of the FX4 Off-Road Package. This option gives you unique features that ready your vehicle for off-road experiences. It includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, Hill Descent Control, skid plates, and a heavy duty engine fan and radiator. This allows you to tackle adventures head-on, knowing that your vehicle is ready for anything and everything that can come your way.
