Ford Focus S  

The 2018 Ford Focus S is the base trim in the lineup, and it’s only available as a sedan. It’s powered by a 2.0L Ti-VCT I-4 engine and a standard 5-speed manual transmission, although a 6-speed automatic is available. It’s good for 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.

You’ll also get the Ford SYNC® infotainment system, complete with a 4.2-inch display screen and a smart-charging USB port that knows exactly how much power to supply to your device.

 

Ford Focus SE  

When you choose the Focus SE trim, Here, you can choose between hatchback and sedan body styles, with the hatch sporting the 2.0L I-4 engine from the base S trim and the sedan featuring a 1.0L EcoBoost® engine with auto start-stop technology. That engine is the most fuel-efficient of the bunch, with an EPA-estimated 30 city and 40 highway MPG.

Focus SEL Trim  

The Focus SEL trim is also available as both a sedan and hatchback, and it adds some exciting features to the mix. At this level, you get a power moonroof that you can vent to let in a breeze or open fully to drench the car in sunlight and fresh air.

The SEL brings the full SYNC® 3 infotainment system, complete with an 8-inch touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ features. Access your music library, send texts, and find navigation directions all from your car’s touchscreen!

 

Ford Focus ST and RS  

These two hatchback-exclusive trims pack even more power. The Focus ST is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost® engine that offers 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. When you need to conquer highway driving, this trim’s acceleration and high-performance suspension will get the job done.

The Ford Focus RS goes even further, with a 2.3L EcoBoost® with auto start-stop that delivers an incredible 350 horses and 350 lb-ft, for exceptional off-the-line acceleration. With all-wheel drive, trim-exclusive drive modes, and a sport exhaust with dual bright tips, the RS is tuned for a sporty performance.
