2018 Ford EcoSport Configurations

The base EcoSport S comes equipped with an EcoBoost® engine and auto start-stop technology. The base engine on the 2018 EcoSport is highly efficient, capable of providing an EPA-estimated 27 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. Even though it’s a subcompact SUV, the EcoSport offers plenty of interior space to stretch out, and generous cargo space, as well. The back features a customizable rear load floor shelf, which you can play around with and customize to fit everything you want in the cargo area.

Front head room measures in at 39.6 inches, enough space for taller drivers. There’s plenty of hip and shoulder room as well, so passengers don’t have to feel cramped in the back seat.

Infotainment

Ford’s SYNC® technology comes standard on the EcoSport This entertainment system and voice recognition technology comes with 4.2-inch color LCD screen. With SYNC® technology it’s easy to connect music and entertainment when traveling. The voice recognition commands even let you make hands-free calls, and saying “Bluetooth® audio” and commanding it with your voice can play your favorite songs.

On higher trims, you can upgrade to SYNC®3 technology, which feature Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for an even easier way to connect your smartphone to the touchscreen while driving. With this technology, you can use your phone’s map to navigate, read text messages or play music.
