Ford Fusion S 

The 2018 Ford Fusion S is the base trim. It has a standard 2.5L iVCT I-4 engine that gets 173 horsepower. The engine works with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together they help the Fusion S get and EPA-estimated 32 MPG highway.

The Fusion S comes standard with SYNC® Voice Recognition Communications and Entertainment System. It has a 4.2-inch color LCD screen in the center dash that controls your entertainment and can even show you what’s behind you with the rearview camera.

More information is available right by your speedometer. An instrument cluster with a 2.3-inch LCD screen gives you real time updates on performance and diagnostics.

Ford Fusion SE 

The next trim is the 2018 Ford Fusion SE. It has the same standard engine as the S, but also has two additional engine options. The first is a 1.5L EcoBoost® I-4 that gets 181 horsepower. The second option is a much more powerful 2.0L EcoBoost® I-4 engine that gets 245 horsepower.

Both of these larger powertrains feature a 6-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission, with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters to give you control of the gear shifting.

The Fusion SE offers a more personalized driving experience. You can adjust the seats easily with the 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and the 6-way power front passenger seat with power recline.

Passengers in the back will feel more relaxed as well with the fold-down center armrest and two cupholders. There’s also more entertainment. SiriusXM® Satellite Radio comes standard and will sound great through the upgraded six-speaker sound system.

Your instrument cluster gets an upgrade, too. The Fusion SE bumps it up to a 4.2-inch LCD screen.

You’ll have advanced technology on the exterior too. The SecuriCode™ invisible keypad allows for keyless entry.

Ford Fusion Titanium

More driver assistance technology starts to come standard on the 2018 Ford Fusion Titanium.

The biggest difference is the upgraded infotainment system. Ford SYNC® 3 comes standard. You’ll have greater control of your entertainment with the larger and more capable 8-inch color LCD touchscreen.

The latest version of this system is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. It has two USB charging ports for your smart phone. You’ll get great sound quality through the 12-speaker Sony® audio system.

On top of being entertained, everyone will be comfortable thanks to the dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control. In the front, the driver and passenger can stay warm in the winter with standard heated seats.

The Ford Fusion Titanium features some elements of a roadster in its design. The 2.0L EcoBoost® engine that is available for the SE is standard on the Titanium. Inside there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum covers on the accelerator and brake pedals.

Ford Fusion Platinum 

The 2018 Ford Fusion Platinum shares the same standard engine as the Titanium but throws in a lot more helpful technology. Some of the driver assist technologies that come standard on the Platinum include:

• Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection

You’ll never lose your way in the Platinum either. It features a standard voice-activated navigation system with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link® 

You’ll also never lose sight of your car. The Ford Fusion Platinum has SYNC® Connect. Just download the FordPass™ App and you’ll be able to find your car in a parking garage, start the engine, and lock and unlock your car all from your smartphone.

The Fusion Platinum lives up to its name with luxury features, too. The cabin appearance is heightened with a leather-wrapped and stitched instrument panel, center console, and door armrests.

For year-round comfort, this upscale sedan has standard heated and cooling front seats.

Ford Fusion Sport 

Of all the trim levels, the 2018 Ford Fusion Sport is the most powerful. It was built to perform and look like a sports car.

It features a 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 that gets 325 horsepower. The Intelligent All-Wheel drive gives you control on tight corners and slick terrain.

As far as the design, the quad-tip dual exhaust and large glossy black grille complete the look of a car that feels at home both on the track and on your daily commute.

All this power won’t disturb your passengers. The 2018 Ford Fusion Sport has Active Noise Control to give you a quiet, comfortable ride.
